Abstract

This editorial outlines the foundational principles of Ceniiac, a publication dedicated to promoting applied knowledge with social impact. Grounded in the belief that science must serve society, it highlights the transformative role of the Applied Social Sciences, the importance of openness, inclusion, and editorial ethics, as well as the need for interdisciplinary approaches to address today’s complex challenges. Ceniiac positions itself as a space for dialogue, rigor, and a strong commitment to useful, responsible, and diverse scientific production.
